I don't care whether this is supposed to count as a proper album, it's absolutely astounding. The man is as good today as he was in 1965. Or at least 1967.

You can hear the Minnesota in him when he sings "about." It almost sounds Canadian. Good stuff.
The cool thing is that it's affected for the song. (Think of all the other times Dylan has used the word "about" in a song-- "You used to, laugh aboooout, everybody that was hangin' ooout..." Definitely no Canadian "aboot" on that one.).
I am generally blasphemously cold on Dylan's last three albums, but this was a beautiful track.
Is the "aboot" you're talking about in the chorus? I always thought he was saying "You ain't gonna worry po' me anymore". If he's saying "aboot" then it's a very different song, Minnesotan accent or no.
I'm pretty certain it's "about." On the album version of this track, it's clearly "about."

Me too. I always thought it was "'bout me"... Po' me makes a lot more sense, though. And Eric, Modern Times is really an amazing record... give it another spin sometime.
