It beats the hell out of the Grizzly Bear. I'll give it that much right off the bat!
I still have deep reservations about his voice. It just rubs me the wrong way. But I was impressed by this. Certainly enough to give it some more listens.
...or perhaps "the new David Byrne"--wait a minute, that IS David Byrne!
