There are some real Tex Plush...Good stuff on here. There are some real Tex Plush-isms evolving here. (Analagous to the Drischord-isms Eric is always mentioning.) The Fruit Bats have become a go-to band for you, and we already know about Radiohead (ahem) Dirty Projectors.<br /><br />Anyway, great list. I had never heard of a few of these, particulary Vetiver and Volcano Choir, but I'm inspired to explore further.<br /><br />Also interesting that you like God Help The Girl so much. I just prefer Murdoch when he's writing "Belle and Sebastian" style songs, so this one didn't really land for me. And I loved The Life Pursuit, snare drum sound be damned.<br /><br />Also, I'm embarassed to say I still do not own the Jim O'Rourke record.
